Intermittent fault

HINT: Check the communication cable between gear selector control module terminal #2 and transmission control module (TCM) terminal #B31 (#B21). Check for an intermittent open-circuit. See  Open-circuit, intermittent faults  . Check for  Contact resistance and oxidation  . 

Remedy as necessary.
