Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-200F is stored if the control module registers that the engine coolant temperature (ECT) does not exceed +5°C within a certain time after starting (depending on the engine start temperature).

Substitute Value 

• engine cooling fan (FC) at low-speed.

Possible Source 

Faulty signal 

• contact resistance in the connectors
• defective thermostat
• defective engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• difficult to start when the engine is warm
• driveability problems during the warm-up phase
• the engine cooling fan (FC) operates constantly.
