Condition

The steering wheel module (SWM) continuously checks the system components. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module at start up registers that the cruise control button has been pressed for more than 60 seconds.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on

Substitute Value 

• The cruise control function does not operate.

Possible Source 

• Initialization fault in the cruise control.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Cruise control does not function at all.
