Checking The Control

HINT: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when a button or switch has been depressed for a long time. No further corrective action is required if the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is intermittent and does not recur. 

Check that the button or switch does not stick in the activated position.

HINT: Read off the relevant button or switch and check the function. 

Remedy as necessary.
