Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
- engine speed (RPM) 1,500-2,500 RPM
- throttle opening 7-30° (however no large changes with the accelerator pedal (AP))
- speed 50-110 km/h
- engine coolant temperature (ECT) between 80-110°C.
The desired value for mass air data is drawn from a table. It is applied with the actual atmospheric pressure and inlet intake air temperature (IAT). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-130A is stored if the control module registers that the difference compared to the actual mass air is too great for approximately 5 seconds.
Substitute Value
A calculated value from the pressure sensor for the intake manifold and engine speed (RPM) is used.
Possible Source
Faulty signal
- Air leakage in the intake system.
- Contaminated throttle disc.
- Blocked crankcase ventilation.
- Damaged mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Damaged fresh air intake hose.
