Checking the Wiring

HINT: The wiring between the upper electronic module (UEM) and the rain sensor consists of two cables.
Windshield wiper stalk in position "0".
Check the cable between upper electronic module (UEM) terminal #13 (#A13) and rain sensor terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

HINT: Resistance between the power supply cable to the rain sensor terminal #8 (#A8) and the data cable to the rain sensor terminal #13 (#A13) should be infinite. The resistance between the data cable to the rain sensor terminal #13 (#A13) and the 30-supply to the upper electronic module (UEM) terminal #11 (#A11) should be infinite.

Remedy as necessary.
