Ignition off
Disconnect connector D on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #D36 (#36) and gas level sensor terminal #1.
