The central electronic module (CEM) checks the communication with the immobilizer antenna unit (IAU). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers a fault in the communication with the immobilizer antenna unit (IAU).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be detected with the ignition on and if diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) CEM-6C41 - CEM-6C44 are not stored during communication with the immobilizer antenna unit (IAU).
