Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

So that the selected gear position is always correct, the gear selector cable must be fitted, adjusted and then calibrated correctly.

If the transmission control module (TCM) registers an incorrect signal from the gear position sensor, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is generated.

Substitute Value 

• Nothing.

Possible Source 

• Gear selector cable fitted incorrectly.
• Gear position sensor not calibrated.

Fault symptom[s] 

• General warning lamp lit
