Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off
- Open the transmission control system.
Check wiring between transmission connector terminal #d1 and solenoid SLU terminal #1. Check the wiring between transmission connector terminal #d2 and solenoid SLU terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .
Also check against the other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant wiring diagram.
Check the solenoid SLU by measuring the resistance between terminals #1 and #2. The resistance should be 5-5.6 Ω at 20°c. Replace the transmission control system if the resistance is incorrect.
