Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SWM-0018 is stored if the micro processor or steering wheel module registers that the Cancel switch on the cruise control function is activated for more than 5 minutes.

Substitute Value 

The cruise control is deactivated for the rest of the journey.

Possible Source 

• The Cancel switch on the cruise control function is activated for more than 5 minutes.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Cruise control does not function at all.
