Checking the power supply

• Ignition on.

  Check the power supply (12 V) to the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor between accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor terminals #1 (cable harness side) and #3 (cable harness side).

  Check that the power supply is approximately 12 V with the ignition on.

  Remedy as necessary.

Is the power supply OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to Replacing the accelerator pedal (AP) position sensor 

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the connectors and cables
