Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-140A is stored if the engine control module (ECM) does not register a change in voltage of approximately 0.1 V in the intake manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor during acceleration from a stable idle speed with a change in throttle angle that exceeds 11 degrees within 3 seconds.
Substitute Value
A value from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor is used.
Possible Source
Faulty signal:
- faulty pressure sensor
- defective hose connector
- contact resistance in the connectors.
