Intermittent Fault

Check the connector on the sun roof module (SRM) and the connector on the roof lamp module. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections.

Check the cable between the sun roof module (SRM) and the roof lamp module. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.

The sun roof module (SRM) terminal #3A and roof lamp module terminal #2B.

The sun roof module (SRM) terminal #7A and roof lamp module terminal #1B.

Check the wiring between sun roof switch and RCM. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.

If no fault is found replace the sun roof switch. See Switch, Sun Roof, Replacing .
