Symptom verification

HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

• Ignition off.
• Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
• Ignition on.

  Shine a strong light on the inner rear-view mirror and check that it dims (becomes darker). Remove the light and check that the mirror lightens. The mirror should also lighten when reverse is engaged.

Does the rear view mirror dimmer work? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
