Checking wiring and connectors

Check the power supply cable between upper electronic module (UEM) connector terminal #10 and movement sensor connector terminal #1. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an open-circuit.

Also check both connectors for contact resistance and oxidation.

If no fault was found, try a new sensor.
