Replacing the component

Replace the Rear fog lamp relay (position 2/49). Check the relay terminal, in particular relay guide 2/49 terminal #2, for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Remedy as necessary

• To access and replace the relay, see Integrated relay/fuse box cargo compartment/rear electronic module, replacing
• When the relay is installed and activated, the voltage at the relay guide (terminal #2) must be 0 V
• See Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault .
