Checking the signal from the trunk lid handle

NOTE:

Only applies to 4-door cars.

Ignition on
Read off the status from the trunk lid handle. Open and close the trunk lid using the handle.
The status should alternate as the handle is affected.

The fault is permanent if the status does not change.

If the status changes, this indicates an intermittent fault, i. e. the fault was present previously but is not active at the moment.
