The rear electronic module (REM) controls the power supply to the inclination sensor module (ISM). The power supply is active when the alarm is activated if the function for reduced alarm is not activated.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the rear electronic module (REM) registers a high level in the power supply to the inclination sensor module (ISM) even though the power supply is not activated.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the rear electronic module (REM) is in alert mode and the alarm is not activated.
