• Ignition off
• Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
• Ignition on
• Read off the status from the switch in tailgate/trunk lid (indicates whether the tailgate/trunk lid is open or closed).

  Open and close the trunk lid / tailgate. The status should change when the tailgate/trunk lid is opened/closed.
