Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-9C01

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the glove compartment lighting.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) detects a short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable for the glove compartment lighting.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute Value 

• If the fault has been detected in 100 ignition cycles, the output is closed permanently until the diagnostic trouble code is erased (applies from structure week 200539).

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the cable to the glove compartment lighting.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The glove compartment lighting is not working.
