Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-8FD0
Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) supplies voltage to the extra lights.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) detects too high a signal on the control signal for the auxiliary lamp relay.
The relay for the auxiliary lamp must be activated for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to be stored.
Substitute Value
- If the fault has been detected in 100 ignition cycles, the output is closed permanently until the diagnostic trouble code is erased (applies from structure week 200539).
Possible Source
- Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the auxiliary lamps relay.
