Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-8A32

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) activates the relay for full beam. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the switch for high beam flash has been active for more than 60 seconds.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at ignition switch position II.

• None.

Possible Source 

• Damaged dip switch
• Fault in the communication with the steering wheel module (SWM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The high beam is constantly lit.
