Ignition off
Disconnect central electronic module (CEM) connector C.
Check the cable for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between:
- Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #C28 (28) and transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A44.
Remedy as necessary.
