Checking the signal cable

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect the 20-pin connector (group A) from the central electronic module (CEM).
• Pull the starter motor relay 2/35 out.

  Check the signal cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #3A and starter motor relay terminal #1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Remedy as necessary.

• YES

• NO
