Generator (GEN), replacing (D5244Tx, - 2004): Removal: Notes

• Disconnect the battery lead. See Battery, replacing .
  CAUTION:

  When removing and installing the battery leads, see Battery, disconnecting .

• Remove the auxiliaries belt. See Auxiliaries belt / belt tensioner, replacing 
• Clamp the servo hose as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the hose and place it to one side.
  NOTE:

  Position the hose so that no oil runs out.

• Disconnect the turbocharger hose from the cooling system. Push the hose to one side
• Remove the screw and nut that run through the upper mounting.
