Checking the component and cable
- Ignition off.
Check the cable between central electronic module (CEM) connector terminal #20A and ignition switch connector terminal #50. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for an open-circuit.
Other information:
- The voltage must be 0 V if the key is in position 0, I or II
