Checking the component and cable

• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between central electronic module (CEM) connector terminal #D60 and the 50-supply to ignition switch connector terminal #7. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

  The voltage must be battery voltage when the key is in the ignition position III.
