Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

The differential electronic module (DEM) checks the software calibration.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-0008 is stored if the control module registers a fault in the internal calibration software.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DEM-0008 can be diagnosed with the engine running and the engine speed (RPM) > 500 rpm.

Substitute Value 

• Four wheel drive is blocked.

Possible Source 

• Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Four wheel drive is not functioning.
