Activating The Alarm

The alarm can be activated as follows:

• Using the remote control LOCK button
• Using the key in the driver's door lock cylinder (market dependent).

25 seconds after activating the alarm the car is fully protected. An acknowledgment that the alarm is activated is obtained by the alarm diode on the dashboard flashing once per second. The alarm diode does not flash and the car is not alarmed if a door is open or if a fault occurs.
