Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Condition
During the first ignition cycle, the Suspension Module (SUM) reads the vehicle configuration data from the central electronic module (CEM). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0262 may be stored if:
- a control module is installed that has previously been used in another car
- software for another model has been downloaded into the Suspension Module (SUM)
- a central electronic module (CEM) is installed that has previously been used in another car.
NOTE:
The test is carried out every other operating cycle.The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
Substitute Value
- Four-C control is switched off.

- General warning lamp lit
