Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUM-0208 is stored if the suspension module (SUM) registers that the internal communication for the storage of data to the control module EEPROM memory is not correctly completed.

NOTE: The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
