Immobilizer, Start Permitted

Shows if the CAN-signal that the Engine control module (ECM) sends on the high-speed network to Central electronic module (CEM) after finished IMMO CHECK, after ignition on, shows that Engine control module (ECM) allows start (POS) or not (NEG).

The condition for Engine control module (ECM) to allow start is that:

• the so-called transponder check was performed okay (transponder-ID is stored and the key's and Central electronic module (CEM) security code match).
• The so-called Immobilizer check was performed okay (codes in Central electronic module (CEM) and engine control module (ECM) match).

Start allowed=Engine control module (ECM) allows start.

Start not allowed=Engine control module (ECM) does not allow start.
