Checking the generator (GEN) and battery
- Ignition off
- Connect the breakout box to the central electronic module (CEM)
- Start the engine.
Check the 30-supply to central electronic module (CEM) terminal #3E (breakout box terminal #B23) and terminal #6E (breakout box terminal #B26). The voltage must not exceed 15 volts at 2,000 RPM.
Also check that the battery is not over-charging.
Remedy as necessary.
