Checking Supply

Check passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2)

Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) terminal #A1 and passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2). Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact Resistance And Oxidation .

If the fuse has blown fault-trace for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See Short-Circuit To Ground, Intermittent Faults

Check the connector

Check passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2)

Check the cable between power seat supply relay (2/29) #3 and passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2). Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See Short-Circuit To Ground, Intermittent Faults . Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact Resistance And Oxidation .

Check that the relay is not is defective.

Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) #B1 and power seat supply relay (2/29) #1. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground. See Short-Circuit To Ground, Intermittent Faults . Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact Resistance And Oxidation .

Remedy as necessary.
