• Ignition on.

  Check the outside temperature.

  NOTE:

  The outside temperature sensor is always located in the right door mirror, irrespective of whether the car is left or right-hand drive.

Is the temperature within its permitted range? 

• YES 

  Refer to Intermittent fault 

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the connectors
