Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-170F

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) detects that the value for the boost pressure sensor pressure deviates from the value for the atmospheric pressure sensor pressure.

The signal is diagnosed when starting up the engine and at low engine speeds with a low throttle angle before the transmission control module (TCM) has built up a boost pressure.

None.

Possible Source 

• Contact resistance in the terminals
• Damaged boost pressure sensor
• Damaged atmospheric pressure sensor.
