Checking The Component And Wiring

Check the power supply cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B17 (#C17) and starter relay terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit.

Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B8 (#C8) and starter relay terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Remedy as necessary.
