Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) detects an internal fault in the knock control sensor.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• Safety retardation of ignition advance.

Possible Source 

• Damaged control module.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Deterioration in performance
• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
