• Ignition on.

  Check the communication with the transmission control module (TCM) by reading out the control module ID number.

  Click the symbol for VCT2000 in Volvo scan tool to begin reading off.

Can the control module ID be read out? 

• YES 

  Refer to FAULT-TRACING INFORMATION 

• NO 

  Refer to CHECKING THE WIRING AND CABLES
