Checking Power Supply And Ground, Power Seat Module, Left (PSL)
For information about fuse and terminal numbers, see the relevant service information.
Check the fuses for the power seat module, left, (PSL) in the engine compartment's fuse box for the Central electronic module (CEM). Check the subsequent cables between the engine compartment's fuse box and Central electronic module (CEM). Check for an open-circuit. If any of the fuses are blown, also check for a short-circuit to ground.
Check the fuses for the relevant front seat on the central electronic module (CEM). Also check the fuse for the relay for interior lighting and front seats on the central electronic module (CEM).
Check the cables for voltage between the Central electronic module (CEM) and relevant front seat. Check for a short circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the power seat module, left (PSL) connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for damage.
Remedy as necessary.
