• Ignition on.

  Check the power supply and ground for the steering wheel module (SWM) by activating the turn signal lamp stalk.

  The turn signal lamps must flash.

Do the turn signal lamps function? 

• YES 

  Refer to CHECKING COMMUNICATION WITH THE STEERING WHEEL MODULE (SWM) 

• NO 

  Refer to CHECKING THE POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND
