Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-0014

Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0014 is stored if the phone module (PHM) registers an open-circuit or a short-circuit to +12 V in the wiring for the carphone antenna signal.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0014 can be diagnosed with the ignition on (not key position 3) and when the battery voltage is 9-16 V.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the wiring (carphone antenna signal) from the antenna to the control module
• Short-circuit to +12 V in the wiring (carphone antenna signal).

Fault symptom[s] 

• No or poor reception in the carphone.
