Disconnecting Cable

NOTE: If the vehicle has a heater with remote starting, the personal code is reset to the factory default (1234) if the battery is disconnected or the power is cut.

All vehicles are equipped with an anti-theft stereo system that requires a code to activate. Record stereo code BEFORE disconnecting negative battery cable. Disconnect negative battery cable.
