Zeroing Contact Reel

If the locking screw is not in the lock position as shown in the illustration, the contact reel must be zeroed. For zeroing see Resetting SRS contact reel .

NOTE:

A new contact reel is zeroed at the factory and supplied with the locking screw installed.

Zeroed means that the steering wheel can be turned to full lock in either direction without damaging the contact reel.
