Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The control module checks the signal from the boost pressure sensor if the module has not detected a fault in the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor or the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-AD is stored if the signal from the boost pressure sensor is lower than a certain limit (signal too low) when the ignition is on but the engine is not running. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-AD is also stored if the signal from the boost pressure sensor is higher than a certain limit (signal too high) when the engine is running.
