Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off.
Check the voltage between ground and system relay base terminal #5. The voltage must be approximately 0 V when the system relay is disconnected.
If the voltage is above approximately 0 volts, check the cable at system relay base terminal #5. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Try a new system relay if no fault is found during the above fault-tracing.
Remedy as necessary.
