The control module performs a function test of the leak diagnostic system. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-66 is stored if the movement of the membrane in the leak diagnostic pump from active position to resting position is too slow. Substitute Value 

Leak diagnostics disabled.

Possible Source 

• Blocked filter between the leak diagnostic pump and the EVAP canister
• Blocked hose between the leak diagnostic pump and the EVAP canister
• Blocked hose between the EVAP canister and the fuel tank
• Defective leak diagnostic pump.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
