Checking cable and component
- Ignition off
Check the signal cable between boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) terminal #3 and control module terminal #13 and the power supply cable between boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) terminal #1 and control module terminal #74 for open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults .
Check boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) terminal #3 for short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
HINT: Boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) is supplied 5 V from control module terminal #74.
If no fault is detected during the above fault tracing, try a new boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) as described in Boost pressure sensor 2, replacing as necessary.
