Checking the cable between the selector switch and the control module

• Ignition off.
• Control module disconnected.
• Disconnect the selector switch.

  Connect an ohmmeter between selector switch connector terminal #4 and control module connector terminal #5.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω. 

• OK 

  Refer to Checking the control module connectors 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Checking for an open-circuit
